In spite of her popularity, I find that Zheng Shuang (Rush to the Dead Summer) tends to keep a low profile as an actress. She doesn’t seem to frequent events, nor does she have a social media account that she regularly updates to keep fans posted on her life. Nevertheless, she’s managed to stay in the spotlight through her dramas, and she’s got two coming soon that seem to be worlds apart in terms of storyline.
My Story For You is an inspirational drama about love, ambition and family that pairs her with Luo Jin (Princess Weiyoung). Cry Me A Sad River is depressing from the onset though it paves the way for another reunion between her and Ma Tianyu (Ice Fantasy Destiny). I’d take the happier premise any day, but I’m actually really leaning towards Cry Me A Sad River because Zheng Shuang and Ma Tianyu are such a shippable pair. I’d be curious to see her chemistry Luo Jin who’s charming his way into the heroine’s heart with his puppy dog eyes, but we all know that he’s Tang Yan’s beau.
