Ace Producer Zhan Da Pang hits rock bottom after going through a divorce with his wife who is also his longtime partner at work. Chang Yang is a newcomer in the industry who dreams of becoming a newscaster. She admires Zhan Ta Pang and follows his leadership. The two end up working on a new show together, but it is fraught with many challenges. Zhan Da Pang learns that he has a bullet in his head from his days working in the field as a wartime journalist. He also has a son with whom he tries to reconnect with in a story that’s about pursuing a career, reaching out to family and finding romance.
This marks Jiang Xin’s next romance drama after Blind Date which was funny and inspiring. She’s usually took on roles where she played a seasoned professional, so it’ll be interesting to see her as someone simply starting out.
