Kris Wu is the latest to join the online streaming website iQiYi as a ‘rank and file’ employee, following the likes of William Chan, Zhao Li Ying and Lin Gengxin. The company simultaneously announced the establishment of a Celebrity Business Unit, because you know, their payroll of famous stars is growing.
A ceremony that serves as an induction rite was held in front of an audience where the iQiYi CEO awarded him the very first iQiYi VIP lifetime membership card. In return, Kris Wu who is one of the rainmakers in The Rap of China (a popular but controversial show also produced by iQiYi) gave the CEO shades, earphones and a Real gold chain.
Now that Kris Wu is part of the company, he seems to be making quick work as an endorser as he appears in a very cool advertisement (see video).
