Happy Chinese Valentine’s Day! Today is the 7th day of the 7th month of the Lunar Calendar, also known as Qixi Festival 七夕 and in celebration of the event comes a dose of pretty going around on social media. I especially like the V-day promo featuring Ma Tianyu and Zheng Shuang smiling warmly at each other for their upcoming drama Cry Me A Sad River, since it’s a nice touch in what seems to be an otherwise depressing story.
I should warn you that this post is going to be very long because the fangirl in me just couldn’t stop.

Tang Yan and Shawn Dou are all smiles in See You Again and as a fan of their recent historical dramas, it’ll be interesting to see Yan Xun romancing Princess Weiyoung (or it could be the other way around considering the plot).

Yang Mi is back doing what she does best as she headlines the fantasy wuxia Legend of Fuyao opposite Ethan Ruan. She might not be playing a goddess here but she still looks stunning, and while we’re on the topic, the Qixi Festival actually tells the story of a weaver girl descended from the heavens who falls in love with a cowherd.

There are different variations to the story but it all ends with the two lovers being forbidden to see each other as they are banished to opposite ends of the world (more like universe) except for that one day every year when a bridge forms so that they can be reunited.

A number of stars also sent greetings on weibo. Yang Mi posted, “Happy Qixi, if there’s a full selfie of me, then I lose ![[憧憬] [憧憬]](https://dramapanda.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/moren_chongjing_org.png)

Zhao Li Ying just posted a smiley face
as she seems to be working through the day. Li Yi Feng and William Chan who were both her leading man as well as best buds seem to have had their own ideas for Qixi. Li Yi Feng posted a humorous greeting along with a picture that looks like his hand hugging his feet while William Chan took a selfie surrounded by a lot of women.

Fan Bing Bing uploaded a picture of a giant flower bunny plus cats and another one of herself with boyfriend Li Chen. She added a message that says, “Aw… Our day. Happy Qixi @LiChen.”

It’s sweet and all but also kind of funny that Fan Bing Bing’s upcoming drama Win the World has dropped intensely passionate stills of her with co-star Gavin Gao. Li Chen leaves a comment for everyone to see, “quickly photoshop me onto the picture.”

Last but not the least, I leave you with roses, kisses and lots of eye candy ?.. Yang Yang is literally endorsing a brand called RoseOnly while Mark Chao recently started endorsing the flower shop the Beast, same as Hu Ge whose picture was from last year. TFBoys had a pictorial for a magazine some months ago for their fourth year anniversary as a group. These boys, they’re almost 18 now.

LOL Li Chen's comment. I am really looking forward to See You Again since I like the premise of the story and they look so cute in those pics. Let's hope the drama doesn't let me down. Funny to think of Yan Xun romancing Princess Weiyoung. Together they could conquer the world 😛

All my attention are on YM and Ethan's photos. Don't they look lovely together?
