Posters have been released for the upcoming drama Romance with the Star 爱在星空下 starring Jia Nailiang (Magical Space Time) and Taiwanese actress Ivy Chen (Smiling Pasta) who is not only popular but also talented as she had won the Taipei Film Award for Best Actress for the movie Hear Me in 2010.
Romance with the Star is a modern drama in a world where the stars are hidden by the bright lights. The main characters follow their hearts and listen to their inner voices to find love and happiness. Looks like star is taken very literally to mean that the main protagonist is an actor.
Su Xing and Sun Xiaoyi have very opposite personalities and come from vastly different backgrounds, and they happen to meet by chance. Su Xing has a touch of sadness and melancholy to his personality, while Sun Xiaoyi is bright and always looking forward. Over the course of the drama, they begin to show each other their true selves and fall in love. The series also stars Li Yi Xiao, Chen Xiao Yun, Ran Xu, Fu Meng Bo and Wang Jing Yan.
