The first character posters for The King of Blaze 火王之破晓之战 looks like something that’s been done before, featuring battle-ready heroes amidst swirly clouds and color-coordinated concepts. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of saying this but it’s still pretty and I like it.
I wish we’d have gotten some character descriptions because I am curious to learn more about this high fantasy adventure that follows the King of Blaze as he finds a way to protect his motherland by traveling to the Tang Dynasty and meeting more gods in the process. His poster hints of a heavy romance as it reads, “In the blazing fire I swear, I don’t wish to wake in a place without you.” The cast is led by Chen Bolin, Jing Tian, Zhang Yi Jie, Lai Yu Meng, Du Jun Ze and Sun Shaolong.
