C-drama Ratings and Celeb Rankings (week starting Aug 21)
Love Actually Joe Chen
Love Actually, For My Love and Head Above Water continue to be the top contenders as rankings rotate across the three throughout the week. Love Actually leads a little more often and it’s getting the highest numbers too, breaching past 1.5% at one point though it’s hardly much of a lead since the other two are also past 1.0%. Blind Date averages at 0.6% – 0.7% though it’s a curious case why it jumped to 1.068% for one day. 


There isn’t much excitement on the late evening shows as numbers seem to be spread out so that nothing really stands out. My Mr. Mermaid and The King’s Woman are neck and neck at 0.9% followed by Lost Love in Times at 0.7%. Xuan Yuan Sword ranges from 0.4% – 0.6% while Tong Tian Detective Dee inherits Legend of Dragon Pearl’s losing streak to place last.  


Web rankings don’t seem all that different but it’s worth noting that Ten Miles of Spring Wind Can’t Compare to You has shot up to second. It’s a show that hasn’t really been on my radar, but maybe it should. Monster Killer 2 drops to eight, yet I’m still hoping that it comes back strong.

    Ten Miles of Spring Breeze is really quite "dog blood". I was intrigued by its campus story and the acting abilities of both leads, but the plot really made me give up ._.

    I am not surprised at the low ratings since nothing good is airing right now. And sadly nothing interesting is set to air soon.
