One look at the The Mysterious Team 天枢之契约行者 and it’s clear that we’re in for one helluva action adventure. Chen Xiang, Kiton Jiang, Han Chengyu and Zhou Mi venture out into the sand dunes of Tianmo Desert to get into the thick of filming and their outfits are a combination of slick blazers, long robes and even an ancient sword. This seems like a story about finding treasures, uncovering mysteries and so forth, and it actually is all of those things weaved into the beginning of the Republican era (now the costumes make senses). I feel like the show need that oomph factor to be worth the watch, and I’d be interested to see more once it wraps.
