“Once Upon A Time” pushes back premiere and earns a North American release

Once Upon A Time
Once Upon A Time 三生三世十里桃花 has dropped two more posters that come with a noticeable change. Instead of July 21, the movie will be released on August 4 August 3 at 2pm in China, half a month later than originally intended. There is no specific reason given other than the new date being a meaningful one since it signifies the eight realms and four seas that are integral to the story.

The drama adaptation of Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms is undeniably a commercial success though the movie also has a lot going for it with a cast headlined by Yang YangCrystal LiuKevin Yan QikuanLuo Jin and Li Chun

Once Upon A Time
It is co-directed by Zhao Xiaoding who was Oscar-nominated for Best Cinematographer for his work in House of Flying Daggers and Anthony LaMolinara who won an Oscar for Best Visual Effects because of Spiderman 2. The involvement of both seem like a fitting combo considering the many fantastical elements in the movie.

International fans need not wait too long because Variety has reported that Well Go USA has acquired the North American distribution rights for the film and that it is scheduled to hit theaters on August 11 in 3D.
