Operation Love 求婚大作战 will begin airing April 24, 2017 on Dragon TV. The premise which is a romance with a touch of fantasy and a whole lot of time travel sounds interesting to say the least but another reason to watch this is undoubtedly Lay Zhang Yixing who is a member of the uber popular k-pop group EXO.
I can’t really say that he’s that good of an actor and if I’m being brutally honest, he was quite green as a martial arts master in The Mystic Nine but I feel like the role of an earnest young man trying to win his love is something that may be more within his reach. Besides, Lay’s already got swoon-worthy down to a tee, how can anyone not fall for that.
The latest stills feature Lay cleaning up nicely in a suit though visibly troubled. Is this pre-time travel or after when things don’t go as planned? Regardless, we are bound to see a more youthful side to him once he goes back in time to his younger days as a baseball player.
