Lee Seung Gi, Cha Seung Won, and Go Ara star in the police comedy You Are All Surrounded about rookie detectives and a Crime squad leader working at a station in Gangnam. It’s full of laughs but is equally as well rounded, offering plot twists and layers of stories that’ll keep you engaged.
With intrigue, romance, and some wholesome action, this is one drama you should bookmark. Depicting internal corruption, the drama sets out to show what happens when good cops are up against bad cops while cracking down on crime in a light, hilarious way.

It begins with Kim Ji Yong discovering his mother murdered when he returns home from school, the case is written off and closed but his suspicions arise when sudden events and encounters with a hidden, elusive figure cause him to run away and take on another name.
Growing up as Eun Dae Gu (Lee Seung Gi) to flee his mother’s killer, he attempts to investigate her death as a detective.Things get messy when he runs into his childhood frenemy, Eo Soo Sun (Go Ara) a police recruit who ends up in the same squad. And to make matters worse, the squad leader (Cha Seung Won) was the detective in charge of his mother’s case…coincidence? I think not!
If you were simply expecting laughs, then think again because this drama will have you on your toes trying to connect the dots! I wouldn’t go as far as calling this an ‘intense’ show but it does have you exercising your brain juices – you want to solve the cases and the overarching murder case along with all the characters.

I’d recommend this to anyone who’s new to K-dramas or even seniors within K-dramaland since it has a little bit of everything, blending genres and creating something fresh. It’s cues are seamless, going from comedic to emotional, the drama even makes a hostage situation seem fun and exciting.
It offers a spunky female lead, decent rich boy, and an adorable bookworm to roundup Eun Dae Gu’s squad, each character unique but adding a little something to the team. If you’re a mystery junkie like I am, then this will be right up your alley!
