After coming across a fashion shoot featuring Mark Chao last month, it was only a matter of time before I come across one of Yang Mi as both have been basking in the limelight because of their latest drama Eternal Love

She is no stranger to playing spunky heroine types – think Chinese Paladin 3 and Sword of Legends but her portrayal of Bai Qian in Eternal Love proves that she is not just a pretty face but a solid actress, literally transforming into the goddess incarnate and nailing every dramatic scene (and there are lots) with an emotional performance.

This year brings on new highs in terms of her career and her most recent shoot for Grazia China echoes the sentiment by showing off an evolved Yang Mi, one who is unafraid to go bold and edgy. I love the mashup of a frilly gown and tennis shoes the best though she actually looks mighty fine regardless of what she’s wearing.
