“Missing Nine” Stars Jung Kyung Ho and Baek Jin Hee Couple Up for Cosmopolitan

Has anyone seen the 2014 SBS variety show Law of the City because the similarities to Missing Nine are uncanny in a funny-coincidence sort of way. As the spinoff to Law of the Jungle, the show follows a group of Korean celebrities left to survive on their own in New York City without a single penny.

Jung Kyung Ho (One More Happy Ending) and Baek Jin Hee (My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol) join the seven member cast and interestingly, there’s a bit about Baek Jin Hee working as a stylist too but enough about Law of the City..

Missing Nine blew me away with a strong premiere and while I can’t say the same for subsequent episodes that went a tad loony and killer happy, it is a show with its own merits and one that I wish more people would watch.

It’s disappointing really since it is sticking out like a sore thumb due to pitiable ratings, which does not do justice to a great concept and an endearing cast who are often shown grungy and distressed due to their situation on the island.

That said, it’s nice to see Jung Kyung Ho and Baek Jin Hee all smiles and comfy for a change in their latest shoot for Cosmopolitan Korea. In true Missing Nine style, they remain color coordinated in browns, beiges and creams.
