Am I the only one who hasn’t seen Ode to Joy 欢乐颂? Because its cast of gorgeous ladies starring Liu Tao, Olivia Wang Zi Wen, Jiang Xin, Yang Zi and Qiao Xin are all the rage lately especially with the sequel coming up in a few months.
Over on the men’s side are Zu Feng, Wang Kai, Zhang Lu, Jin Dong and Yang Shuo who understandably take a backseat in a show about celebrating women. There’s quite a few pairs to root for in the huge ensemble cast and fans of When A Snail Falls In Love can look forward to sweetness between Wang Kai and Olivia Wang who played a couple here first.
The story is adapted from a novel by He Nai 阿耐 that revolves around five women from different backgrounds who go from being complete strangers to friends and close confidantes after living together on the 22nd floor of the Ode to Joy apartment. The 42-episode Chinese TV series is backed by the creative minds of Nirvana in Fire that include Producer Hou Hong Liang and Director Kong Sheng.

No, you're not the only one who hasn't seen it. *sigh* While I'm normally not a fan of females-living-together-and-facing-(male)-trials-and-tribulations-Shows, I'm tempted after watching "When a snail falls in love". However,… I do have a looong list of stuff I want to watch … and it's not really my genre … but I like the actors…
