Love and Passion 万水千山总是情 is the Chinese remake of the 1982 TVB series of the same name and it is headlined by Kevin Yan Yikuan (New Xiao Shi Yi Lang), Qin Lan, Lawrence Wong, Zhang Bo Jia and Vengo Gao Weiguang (Three Lives Three Worlds).
Veterans Damien Lau and Patrick Tse complete the cast and it’s interesting that the latter who happens to be Nicholas Tse’s dad actually played the titular hero in the original.
The story promises to be an epic melodrama fraught with the onslaught of war in the 1930’s, painstaking love triangles and a complicated romance that is met with opposition at every turn.
