The TV series is said to be a costume drama in the suspense romance genre that promises to be a heart-wrenching story about switched identities and amnesia. Rather than the plot, I am actually most curious about seeing Border Town Prodigal stars Viann Zhang and Zhu Yi Long reunited but unlikely to be together since Peter Ho takes the lead.
Aside from the younger leads, seasoned veterans like Zhou Hai Mei and Liu Xue Hua also join the cast.
