The more high profile the production, the louder the promotion and the more creative it seems as well. The highly-anticipated Lost Love in TImes 醉玲珑 starring William Chan (Legend of Zu) and Cecilia Liu (Imperial Doctress) has released a set of posters not of the characters but of the intricate designs by Chang Suk Ping who is also the man behind the scenes of Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms.
Props and costumes are not something that would normally catch my eye but I have to admit, the level of craftsmanship is laudable from the embroidery to the hardwares that were hand sewn down to the last detail. One costume apparently takes at least a week while the finishing takes more than a month. I have to admit, it does look good but seriously, who’s responsible for the hair? Their tower tall headpieces is probably the one thing that the show has been endlessly mocked for since viewers first saw the cast in costume.

I spent more time evaluating the men's costumes and headwear, than I ever did, watching Asian dramas. The layers and volume of fabric material and the clashing patterns were a constant distraction, and the headwear (hair ornaments and braided hair hats) were OTP (over the top) lterally.
