Back in October, William Chan (The Mystic Nine) and Li Yi Feng (Legend of Chusen) updated their weibo on the same day along with the captions “two” and “ugly” respectively though the subject is quite the opposite as it features the two simply being wacky on the streets of Japan.

Both went on vacation to enjoy a well-deserved break from back to back dramas over the last few years. It’s hardly surprising that they’ve become good friends given that they rose to fame in Sword of Legends together and even went on to star in Legend of Fragrance.

Coincidentally, they both actually had their start as singers though it was really Sword of Legends that cemented their careers. The age gap probably helps since they are only two years apart at ages 31 and 29 and I bet you have a pretty good guess on who’s older (aka who’s the martial arts senior).

Meanwhile, Nirvana in Fire is a Chinese drama just rolling in bromances. I find it impossible to choose a favorite because they’re all so swoon-worthy but in this case, I’ll take what I can get as Hu Ge (Chinese Paladin) and his little bodyguard Wu Lei (Magic Star) headline the cover of Elle Magazine’s February Issue.

I love how fun the shoot looks and it certainly brings back memories of the brotherly chemistry in NIF that is often a source of comedy in an otherwise heavy revenge drama. Can you believe their bromance started eleven years ago?
