New Justice Bao 新版包青天 is a Chinese TV series starring Li Dong Xue (Legend of Zhen Huan), Gao Jun Xian, Zhang Zhi Xi (Three Heroes and Five Gallants) and Kenneth Tsang.
Legend of Kaifeng hasn’t even aired and another c-drama about Justice Bao is already in line in an attempt to remake the 1974 and 1993 Taiwanese classic. Rights to broadcast over 200 episodes have been secured and the first 50 episodes of season 1 is scheduled to air in 2017.
Similar to its predecessors, the story will be a based on Three Heroes and Five Gallants, a novel about a brilliant and impartial judge from the Song Dynasty with an overwhelming resolve to fight injustice.
