If you were frustrated with the ending of Legend of Chusen, then this dose of happy news may be just what you need. Qin Jun Jie and Yang Zi who play Zeng Shu Shu and Lu Xue Qi may be dating in real life as they were seen exchanging kisses in a restaurant in Hengdian and leaving together afterwards.
It sure brings a whole new meaning to the times when Zeng Shu Shu refers to Lu Xue Qi as Qin Qin Xue Qi (translates to Kisses Xue Qi). I liked Zeng Shu Shu the most in Chusen since he seemed genuinely sweet and such a comic relief too. If it’s true, a big congrats indeed.
Neither party has confirmed and even Yang Zi’s father asked the media to talk to her manager instead but a Legend of Chusen producer retweeted the news along with a message saying that she can now become a hongniang (translates to matchmaker).
I remember reading about Yang Zi’s 24th birthday last Nov. 6 and the buzz was around Zhang Yi Shan’s very public birthday greeting, which essentially tells Yang Zi to find a man lest people keep assuming that they are together. Lol, I wonder if he knew?
