Fighter of the Destiny 择天记 calls it a wrap in the deserts of Dunhuang, ending its 134 days of filming in a heartwarming group photo of the cast and crew last October.
It was a grueling process especially for the cast who had to brave the summer heat in Hengdian wearing layers upon layers of costumes. Filming went on to many other locations and an ambulance was on-call 24 hours for safety reasons. Nonetheless, everyone seems to be in high spirits, all smiles and playful as seen in a video inviting viewers to watch for the premiere in 2017.
Fighter of the Destiny is another highly-anticipated adaptation of a popular fantasy novel, much like the Legend of Chusen and the production is slated to have spent RMB 3.5 hundred million on recreating state of the art computer generated effects and designs. Furthering the hype is the hottest young idols that includes Luhan, Gu Li Na Zha, Janice Wu Qian, SNH48 Lin Si Yi and Zeng Shun Xi.
