Approximately 4 months, 332 outdoor locations, 3000 costumes, 500 weapons and 40,000 cast members later, A Chinese Odyssey: Love of Eternity 大话西游之爱你一万年 officially wraps on Nov. 10, 2016 as it begins post-production.
It is Yin Zheng and Huang Zi Tao’s first project together and I’m quite excited to see what their collaboration brings since Yin Zheng has been gaining praise for his phenomenal performance in Sparrow and Huang Zi Tao seriously looks like the kind of guy who can pull off the role of Monkey King. The series will potentially broadcast during the summer of next year.
