The trailer is something else and because of it, I caught wind of Moonlight Drawn By Clouds 구르미 그린 달빛, an 18-episode youthful rom-com set in the Joseon era.
Park Bo Gum, the hottie from Reply 1988 and Kim Yoo Jung, the child actress from every other period drama take the lead in this story about a prince who falls in love with a girl disguised as a eunuch. B1A4’s Jin Young brings up the rear to complete their love triangle.
The premise sounds extremely similar to the short-lived k-drama Splash Splash Love, minus the time travel so if you like one, then you might like the other. The series premieres Aug 22, 2016 on KBS2 (eng subs on Viki).
This has to be Kim Yoo Jung’s first adult role and she looks gorgeous, goodness they all do.

Unfortunately forced to watch BOTH 'Moonlight' dramas simultaneously due to competing broadcast dates…This is one sweet drama just such a treat to see Kim in her first adult role….I've watched her grow up on the dramaland stage. A very different premise with a few more yummy episodes to go… a much lighter take on this drama than the 'other moonlight'

ooh it's the opposite for me.. I quite like the darker one compared to moonlight but the light-hearted fluff is kind of hard to resist. I'm watching both as well:)

Did you finish it? Did you enjoy it untiI the end? I stopped at 10 or 11 episodes. I don't know why but I was not as deeply immersed in this one as in moonlovers despite its obvious qualities.

I did but with tons of fast forwarding.. not sure if you follow dramabeans but they loved the show so I felt like I should too. I actually loved the leads and their sizzling chemistry but the story is pretty generic which is probably why i couldn't get into it either.
are u watching anything these days? after weiyoung ended, i have been taking a break from all shows coz lots of stuff to do this time of the year. If I don't get to talk to you over here, happy holidays in advance! 🙂 I'm probably gonna start a new drama soon so open to suggestions haha

I love the leads (and the 2nd leads) and the plot is interesting but i feel like there are some fillers(?) yet the ending wasn't that satisfying for me 🙁
But overall, I enjoyed watching it (and cried at times though a better ost could've made me cry harder )
