I will be posting real-time since I have been honing my google skills in preparation for the Ruby Lin (Singing All Along) and Wallace Huo (Imperial Doctress) wedding in beautiful Bali. Given that they both hail from Taiwan, a second ceremony will be held in Taipei on Aug 2, 2016, a recurring trend it seems as Michelle Chen also did the same for her wedding.
As usual, my invitation got lost in the mail! haha
Wallace Huo (born 1979) and Ruby Lin (born 1976) went public regarding their relationship last May in what appears to be a romance that has taken ten years in the making. To say their union took the world by surprise is an understatement, in an awe-inspiring way. I really only remember that Ruby Lin dated Jimmy Lin and Wallace Huo dated Joe Chen Qiao En then not much else beyond that.
Ruby and Wallace first worked together in 2006 for the filming of Sound of Colors and again in 2011, when she hired him to star in Glamorous Imperial Concubine. Yet apparently, things only heated up recently, culminating at Ruby’s 40th birthday bash this year and the rest is history.
A big congrats to what seems like a very blissful wedding with guests such as Vicki Zhao Wei, Fan Bing Bing, Shu Qi, Zhou Xun, Hu Ge, Nicky Wu and Liu Shishi in attendance. I think it’s awesome to see the three ladies from the 1998 hit TV series My Fair Princess together again and what a long way they’ve come. Of course, I’m also not surprised that Hu Ge who makes the other half of Wallace Huo’s “bromance” since their Chinese Paladin 3 was also at the wedding. Tiffany Hsu Weining is the maid of honor.
Update: By the way, baby rumors have been confirmed and the blooming bride is indeed three months pregnant.
